I found some trash in my guitar case. I first thought it was some random piece of wrapping, then I saw that it was the wrapping for some batteries. then, I remembered it all: the batteries were for my pedal, and the wrapping was because I couldn't find a place to put it during the concert.

the concert was one and a half years ago. this piece of junk has been sitting in my guitar case for all that time. waiting for me to pick it and let it go. me, being busy with school and exchange, with research and all other menial tasks of life, forgot to clean it up. until now.

and then I remembered the crazy times we've had. those stressful days of balancing school with the band, trying to make it all work without throwing myself out the equation. then I found the setlist of that concert printed on an A4, with my name on it and some chords. and another print as backup, because I really did not want to mess this up.

and then I put the junk out of its misery, and let it all go. the past already lives in the hearts of my friends, and in my already-extensive records. no need for another piece of junk. though I did keep the setlist, just for my ease of mind.
